Arvato will be helping to recognise some of Slough’s most talented, inspirational and hardworking young people at an upcoming awards ceremony.
We’ll be sponsoring the ‘Young Inspiration Award’ at the Slough Youth Awards on Thursday 8th November. The award recognises a young person who has overcome a challenge, difficulty or disability and has inspired others in the process.
The annual awards ceremony aims to celebrate and highlight young people’s hard work. The event takes place at The Curve from 7.00pm until 9.30pm and will feature performances showcasing the amazing talent of local young people.
We’re committed to developing young talent at Arvato and since 2012 we’ve helped over 120 apprentices into work, across our partnerships in Slough, Sefton, Chesterfield and Swansea.
We were included in the Government’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer List for the second year in a row, which recognises organisations with the highest standards of excellence in employing apprentices. Additionally, we’ve also been named as one of the Top 100 Employers for School Leavers which highlights the UK’s best apprenticeships and school leaver programmes, as well as those businesses that excel in areas such as job satisfaction, career progression, training and company culture. We also support young disadvantaged people develop and get into work as a patron of The Prince’s Trust.
Nikki Yates, Early Careers Manager said: “As a local employer, supporting young talent in Slough is very important to Arvato. Investing in young people can bring fresh ideas to organisations and really help build a strong workforce that can tackle the challenges ahead. I’m looking forward to hearing the stories of Slough’s inspirational young people and wish all those who are shortlisted the best of luck on the night!”
